The honky may have grown up privileged thinking he’d be a banker like his father. But, the white man’s time has come. Now it’s the white male who tills the soil and grows rich crops meant for other families.

Young Ivan’s spends most of his days toiling silently with some other field honky bucks eager to avoid the Overseer’s whip. The closest thing to kindness in this honky's new life comes once a month when he and the others are called in to get sheered, inspected by the vet, then given a few hours in the breeding barn to rut with the breeding-age females. 

Ivan has been told in passing he’s sired five pups and that he should be very proud because they’ll grow up big and strong like and generate a lot of wealth for his Master.
